🧱 Block Stacker
Seven shapes, one well — keep it clean, clear lines, and don't let the stack touch the sky!
How to play Block Stacker
How to play
Block Stacker is the classic falling-block puzzler: tetromino pieces in all 7 shapes drop one by one into a tall well. Slide and rotate each piece into place before it lands. Whenever you complete a full horizontal line, it vanishes and everything above settles down — clearing space and scoring points. The pieces fall faster with every level, and if your stack reaches the very top, the game is over. How long can you survive?
Controls
- ← / → move the piece left and right.
- ↑ (or X) rotates clockwise, Z rotates counter-clockwise.
- ↓ soft-drops the piece faster; Space hard-drops it instantly.
- Touch: use the on-screen buttons — ◀ ▶ to move, ⟳ to rotate, ▼ to soft-drop, ⤓ to slam down.
- Press Play to start, Play Again after topping out.
Tips
- Keep your stack flat — a level surface accepts almost any piece, while deep holes only fit one shape.
- Save a one-column gap on one side for the long I-piece; clearing four lines at once is the jackpot.
- Don't panic-rotate near the walls — gentle kicks help, but a flat landing beats a clever spin.
- Watch the Next preview panel and plan your current placement around the incoming piece.
Scoring
Clearing lines pays 100 / 300 / 500 / 800 points for 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 lines at once, multiplied by your level — so multi-line clears are everything. Soft-dropping earns 1 point per step and hard-dropping 2 per step. Every 10 lines raises your level and the fall speed. Your best score is saved in your browser. Chase the perfect four-line clear!
